Time Together at Bab Al Shams

  • All room rates are subject to 10% Service Charge, 7% Municipality Fee and 5% VAT.
  • A Tourism Dirham Fee of AED 20 per bedroom per night is applicable.
  • A valid ID is required upon check-in for verification purposes.
  • Early check-in and late check-out until 5pm (subject to availability)
  • Pay 1 for 2 Spa Treatments must be used during the stay and before check-out. Two for one offer is limited for any 60-minute or 90-minute massage only per room per stay. Any unused treatment is non transferrable or cannot be converted into cash. Not valid in conjunction with any offers.
  • Advance booking is required for spa treatments and are subject to availability.
  • All benefits are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
  • Benefits are valid only for the duration of the stay and may not be combined with other promotions unless stated otherwise.
  • All room rates are based on double occupancy. Additional guests, 12 to 16 years of age is subject to a supplement per room per night, this is subject to the maximum occupancy policy of the room type.
  • Offer can accommodate maximum of 2 adults and 1 child (11 years old).
  • Offer is not transferable or exchangeable to cash and not combinable with any other offer.
  • Offer is not applicable to group bookings (10 rooms or more).
  • Cancellation and No Show, Guarantee and Deposit may apply.
  • Other terms and conditions may apply.
  • Bab Al Shams reserves the right to withdraw all offers at any time.

Property Terms

Rates

All room rates and fees are in United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) and are subject to 7% Municipality Fee, 10% Service Charge and 5% VAT. A government Tourism Dirham fee of AED 20 per bedroom per night shall apply upon guest checkout.

Rates, inclusions, and room occupancies are as stated in your confirmation and may be subject to change at any time without notice.

Payment Guarantee Policy

A valid credit card guarantee is required at time of booking and a reservation will be deemed confirmed after processing of all deposits and payments according to the below terms. The resort reserves the right to release bookings without prior notice if guarantee or full payment is not received on time. Confirmation is also subject to receiving all guest names, particularly for multiple room bookings.

Payment is accepted by credit card or bank transfer. An online payment link is available for secure credit card payments and the card utilised for this (and all online bookings) must be presented by the card holder upon check-in, accompanied by passport or ID verification.

Rooms and Suites

For travel from 1 Jun 2026 to 1 Oct 2026
• Credit Card guarantee is required at the time of booking.
• 3 days or less prior to arrival, will incur a fee of 100% of total room charges.

For travel from 02 Oct 2026 to 17 Dec 2026
• Credit Card guarantee is required at the time of booking.
• 7 days or less prior to arrival, will incur a fee of 100% of total room charges.

For travel from 18 Dec 2026 to 24 Dec 2026
For travel from 02 Jan 2027 to 05 Jan 2027
• Credit Card guarantee is required at the time of booking.
• 14 days or less prior to arrival, will incur a fee of 100% of total room charges.

For travel from 25 Dec 2026 to 01 Jan 2027
• 21 days or less prior to arrival, will incur a fee of 100% of total room charges.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to travel (or utilise the accommodation and services previously confirmed), cancellation fees may apply. 

A change in the length of stay or dates of your reservation is subject to availability and may result in a rate change. A revision made to a booking may also constitute a cancellation. In case of shortened length of stay, the cancellation policy will apply for the cancelled nights. If a booking deposit must be refunded, please note that any credit card surcharge or currency fluctuation is unable to be refunded.

Cancellation, early departure, and no-show fees incurred are the sole responsibility of the client and will be charged accordingly as follows:

• Credit Card guarantee is required at the time of booking.
• 21 days or less prior to arrival, will incur a fee of 100% of total room charges.

Arrival and Departure

Airport Transfers
Bab Al Shams Desert Resort is conveniently located just 45 minutes from downtown Dubai or 60 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Private resort transfers can be arranged upon request, and vehicles can accommodate a maximum of four adults and one child. Rates start from AED 450 each way for Dubai International Airport, AED 650 each way from Abu Dhabi Airport, and AED 650 each way from Abu Dhabi city centre. Rates are subject to change during public holidays.

It is mandatory for guests to present proof of identification upon arrival (either passport or official Emirates ID), as this is a requirement by the Dubai Government.

Additional Guests and Children Surcharges

Subject to the maximum occupancy applicable by room, the following applies for additional guests:

Infants under the age of 4 years – complimentary, including a cot if required.
Children 4 -11 are on complimentary when sharing existing bedding on BB.

Special Event Dining Supplements

Mandatory Festive supplement to be applied on the night of 31 December.

Other Information

Minimum Age
There must be at least one guest of minimum 21 years of age, with a valid credit card, present upon check-in at Bab Al Shams. This guest must be holding the payment for the travelling party against this credit card.

Smoking
All guest rooms, indoor areas, public areas and restaurants are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted on the outdoor terrace of a guest accommodation and on the outdoor terrace of bars.

Rate Changes
Please be advised that service charges, fees and taxes (or the introduction of any new fees or taxes) are subject to change at any time without prior notice and Bab Al Shams Resort reserves the right to introduce these in accordance with law. The prevailing tax rates at the time of stay will be charged, along with the introduction of any new fees or taxes.

Bab Al Shams Resort reserves the right to cancel a stay at a time prior to scheduled departure. In this event a refund will be issued of accommodation pre-payments.
