All room rates and fees are in United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) and are subject to 7% Municipality Fee, 10% Service Charge and 5% VAT. A government Tourism Dirham fee of AED 20 per bedroom per night shall apply upon guest checkout.

A valid credit card guarantee is required at time of booking and a reservation will be deemed confirmed after processing of all deposits and payments according to the below terms. The resort reserves the right to release bookings without prior notice if guarantee or full payment is not received on time. Confirmation is also subject to receiving all guest names, particularly for multiple room bookings.

Payment is accepted by credit card or bank transfer. An online payment link is available for secure credit card payments and the card utilised for this (and all online bookings) must be presented by the card holder upon check-in, accompanied by passport or ID verification.

If you are unable to travel (or utilise the accommodation and services previously confirmed), cancellation fees may apply. 

A change in the length of stay or dates of your reservation is subject to availability and may result in a rate change. A revision made to a booking may also constitute a cancellation. In case of shortened length of stay, the cancellation policy will apply for the cancelled nights. If a booking deposit must be refunded, please note that any credit card surcharge or currency fluctuation is unable to be refunded.

Airport Transfers
Bab Al Shams Desert Resort is conveniently located just 45 minutes from downtown Dubai or 60 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Private resort transfers can be arranged upon request, and vehicles can accommodate a maximum of four adults and one child. Rates start from AED 450 each way for Dubai International Airport, AED 550 each way from Abu Dhabi Airport, and AED 650 each way from Abu Dhabi city centre.

It is mandatory for guests to present proof of identification upon arrival (either passport or official Emirates ID), as this is a requirement by the Dubai Government.

Subject to the maximum occupancy applicable by room, the following applies for additional guests:

Infants under the age of 4 years – complimentary, including a cot if required.
Children 4 -11 are on complimentary when sharing existing bedding on BB.

Mandatory Festive supplement to be applied on the night of 31 December.

Minimum Age
There must be at least one guest of minimum 21 years of age, with a valid credit card, present upon check-in at Bab Al Shams. This guest must be holding the payment for the travelling party against this credit card.

Smoking
All indoor areas, public areas and restaurants are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted on the outdoor terrace of a guest accommodation and on the outdoor terrace of bars.

Rate Changes
Please be advised that service charges, fees and taxes (or the introduction of any new fees or taxes) are subject to change at any time without prior notice and Bab Al Shams Resort reserves the right to introduce these in accordance with law. The prevailing tax rates at the time of stay will be charged, along with the introduction of any new fees or taxes.

Bab Al Shams Resort reserves the right to cancel a stay at a time prior to scheduled departure. In this event a refund will be issued of accommodation pre-payments.
